How to Use the Fixture Planner
Our difficulty ratings use expected goals data (xG) instead of FPL's static FDR. This means ratings reflect actual defensive performance - teams conceding lots of chances show as easier fixtures.
- Green (Easy) - Opponent has high xGA (weak defense). Great for attacking players and captain picks.
- Gray (Medium) - League average defense. Performance depends more on form than fixture.
- Orange (Hard) - Opponent has low xGA (solid defense). Consider benching attackers.
- Red (Very Hard) - Elite defense. Only fixture-proof players likely to return.
- Home (H) vs Away (A) - Home fixtures get a 0.4 difficulty reduction (home advantage).
- Past Results - Completed GWs show actual goals scored, so you can validate if our difficulty ratings match reality.
